If Rod settles more and more comfortably in Las Vegas, he does not give up his European fans, Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, .. But of course not France.

AMSTERDAM -
A peine venons-

MOYA
I’ve learnt so much from how he commands the stage and works with the audience. He is a complete pro and it’s a fantastic opportunity for someone like me.

A good surprise, the first part is supported by Moya, a young British artist aged 22, whom Rod embarked with him for this European tour. Several titles draw our attention to "A Little More Love" and "Make Me Fall" in particular.
The very bad surprise is the absence of Paul Warren, replaced by Emerson Swinford. His energy, his enthusiasm, his crazy improvisations are suddenly sorely lacking. The "heavy" and irreproachable sound of his guitar gives way to an almost bland and soulless interpretation. Total frustration on "Sailing" where we used to hear his heart-
Totof on his side ends up getting noticed by Rod who throws of a ball in his direction which he catches up victoriously. Hardly have we just met again that we must already say us goodbye. At the next time Totof. We are already thinking about the next concert in ... Dortmund.

July 11, we take the road to London and this time we finally embark on the Shuttle. Rod will give us the best of himself tonight, maybe to be forgiven for the canceled concert. "This Old Heart Of Mine" opens a dream concert that seems not to want to finish. 25 hits for this memorable evening. Ruby Stewart even makes an appearance to sing "Chain Of Fools", a somewhat arduous reprise of the famous title of Aretha Franklin. The exercise is probably not easy. Di Reed is doing much better with Sam and Dave's "Soul Man", renamed "Soul Girl". You add a "Young Turks" and a "I'd Rather Go Blind" and when comes "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy" drowned under the multicolored balloons, it's ecstasy. Thank you Rod for this wonderful evening.
Between the two concerts of Dortmund and London, Rod did not pass in France, but almost ... in Monte-
In Dortmund, we feel very lonely without Lord Scotty and Totof for this concert which is a bit weird. The voice of Rod is not really at the top (probably the consequences of the London concert canceled earlier). Hilarious little incident about Maggie May: Rod changes shoes without releasing the microphone. No less than two assistants to put back his shoes. But on "Hot Legs", the big incident: A balloon is bluntly sent back from the room in the direction of the chorists and maybe touches the leg Lucy Woodward. Rod orders his musicians to stop playing to scold the offender. When Di Reed give him the ball incriminated, Rod give a big kick in the ball that crosses the scene straight away to Chuck Kentis who must have felt the ball pass very close to his head. Rod seems to apologize or maybe he gives his orders to resume the concert.
He throws his microphone on the floor the back turned to the audience who begins to applaud and chant "Rod" to encourage him to continue. He will resume with "Baby Jane", but the charm is broken. He's angry and in a hurry to finish. The curtain falls to get up on "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?" with a static "Rod". No goodbye, not a hand gesture, not a look, ... Thanks to the idiot who will surely deprive Dortmund future concerts. We console ourselves by thinking of the next concert in London.
